SEEKER

To grace be grace
And to life be life
For a soul that searches earnestly shall find
Only if it is meant to find.
For a soul can search
For that which is not in its path
But then how does a soul know
That which it is meant to find
Should it search the whole world?
Won’t it be dead long before it has found?
Or should a soul seek
From the maker of paths
For its direction
Or at least a map
To shorten the road?
What if a soul chooses not to search
Does that make it a dead soul?
Or a humanly lazy soul?
Or is that its purpose
To not search
